They believe that by doing so, they are bringing in feng shui. Many Chinese assume that the darker and rounder the leaves, the better.

Growing succulent plants in your garden is easy. First, place your succulent plants under the sun for not more than six hours daily. Remember, this will depend on the variety of succulents you are taking care of. Also, water them when necessary. Most types of succulent plants need more water during the summer and spring seasons than winter and fall. You should not overwater the plant to keep it fresh and to ensure that it grows efficiently.
